Thanks Aunt Nikki!!!!
I finally met Aunt Nikki today!!!! She is a good girl, she gave me a swingy thingy! I enjoyed it lots and lots! Uncle Brooks didnt seem as interested as Aunt Nikki in having another baby, but I think Cousin Dallas isn't even sure what I am.
Happy Easter!
We went to Jenny's side of the family for Easter. We had to reschedule my side because my mom was sick and we didn't want to put Emma at risk. Emma was passed around to everyone several times and by the end of the day was pretty worn out!

First Fire Station Visit!
Well... Emma is out and about these days... she made appearances at the fire station, doctors offices and anywhere else there is that daddy can show her off. Its hard to imagine that she is so small that she fits in daddy's helmet. Also... after a long nite, its sometimes hard to tell who is watching whom?

AT HOME!

Well it seemed like it has been forever but really just 4 days and some change...
We finally got the ok to go home! Emma is feeling alot better and her breathing is almost normal... Last nite daddy even let her out of his sight for a couple hours so he can sleep. Emma was with her favorite nurse (Julie) who just spoiled the crap out of her. They had "arts and crafts time" where Emma (and nurse julie) made a couple cards for us... One announcing Princess Emma to the world, including hand prints and foot prints along with the official information such as time, weight, and length. Then she made us an Easter card! It was pretty awesome!
Then we got the best news in the morning... Time to go home. Follow up appointment tomorrow but we are pretty excited!

1 more nite?
Just a quick note to let everyone know we are staying the nite again. Emma is feeling alot better but they just wanted to be sure it was all ok before we left. She is still on a monitor but staying with us in the room. We all look forward to going home really really soon! Also, be sure to check the second page so that you can see the first pics.

Day 3 went pretty well... Emma was able to keep all her vitals within the normal ranges. With any luck we will all be able to go home on saturday! We will keep you posted! Enjoy some of the pics of my new PIMPED OUT Girl.

Happy 2 Days Emma!
Yesterday was a rough day for lil Emma and family. She was having some breathing problems (both shallow and rapid) as well as a fever. They did all kinds of tests and put her on a monitor. Finally after all day she started to calm down and relax. Her breaths are alot better and the fever has gone away. Her tests all turned out good but for a 1 day old to get an x-ray and lots of needles in her really breaks a daddy's (and mommy's) heart. This morning all seems well but they are going to keep her on the monitor all day and keep us at least one more night. But don't those lil eyes just make your heart melt?
